Dr. Merck’s stitch method is a procedure that achieves optimal cosmetic results. The otoplasty is Gentle – it involves no skin incisions. Per ear, only a few small stitch incisions on the back of the auricle are required. No cartilage reshaping and no skin removal.
Quick – only a 1-day therapy with antibiotics. No inpatient treatment, only outpatient, and therefore no need to miss school or work.
Uncomplicated – using a hand-held mirror, patients help determine the position of their ears during the operation. Patients go home with their ears in the position they’ve always wanted.
